Grand Rapids is setting another beer record. Tapping the most craft beer in the state, The Score will tap 120 craft beers during “Tap-Fest” on Thursday, September 26th.
The Score Restaurant & Sports Bar on Northland Drive in Grand Rapids is unveiling their recent beer expansion, tapping 120 craft beers. They will offer 128 total taps and dedicate 120 of those taps to craft beer from all over the world, with a special focus on Michigan craft beer. “We want to showcase beer from all over, but will dedicate many taps to Michigan craft beer, carrying all of the brews available from Bell’s, Short’s, New Holland and Founders.” says Jake O’Rourke, Bar Manager. Michigan is the 4th largest producer of craft beer & named the “Great Beer State”.

Beer lovers in Michigan can now flock to The Score not only for the largest craft beer selection in the state, but with the recent law allowing the purchase of beer growlers to-go, customers can also get their favorite beer to enjoy at home. The Beer Growler Outlet, located inside The Score will offer a state of the art growler filling station with a low price guarantee on your favorite beer straight from the barrel.

The Score is locally owned and operated since 2007 and has raised over $120,000 for local non-profit organizations. During Tap-Fest on Thursday, September 26th The Score will donate 10% of all sales and $10 from every growler sold to the West Michigan Biking

Alliance & Friends of the White Pine Trail, setting a goal to raise $10,000 for these non-profits. Even if you are not into beer, come and support a great cause and catch your favorite sports team on over 70 HD and big screen TVs or listen to a live band under the shade of a real palm tree!
