Pairing a tropical theme along with Michigan and other craft beer selections, Mango’s Bar & Grille has remained a staple of Muskegon’s Lakeside now for many years. The restaurant has recently doubled their draft selection from 6 taps to 12 taps with an emphasis local and Michigan beers. The expanded selection has allowed Mango’s to be one of the first restaurants in the area to include both of Muskegon’s new breweries Unruly & Pigeon Hill on tap at the same time. Other Michigan favorites such as Perrin, Odd Side Ales, Founders and Bell’s are currently prominently featured as well as non-Michigan craft breweries such as New Belgium.
The island-themed menu ranges from appetizers such as wings and coconut shrimp to a diverse food lineup including fish tacos, flatbread pizzas, and seafood such as perch and walleye to pair with your favorite beers. Lunch specials include soup, salad, and sandwich combinations and Mango’s is also well known for their 1/2 pound burgers and Mexican fare.

If you are looking for a good bar-style burrito, Mango’s will certainly hit the spot. In additional to the new draft offerings, Mango’s also offers a good craft beer bottle selection as well as full bar with cocktails and mixed drinks.

Mango’s is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and open until 11 PM on weekends for a late night stop. Bring in your Beer Hound membership card for 15% off food (not good with other specials). The Mango’s website and facebook page are regularly updated with the latest beer tappings and food specials such as $2 off burgers; there is always something new going on. Also be sure to check out their outdoor patio this summer!
