Front 43 lunch article

If you have not been to Front 43 Neighborhood Pub in Lansing, I want you to stop what you are you doing and go now! Well, wait. Finish reading this first then drop everything and go!
Front 43 is laid out similar to the classic downtown bars, or Chicago style as I have heard them called. It is a long and narrow space. But where others are dark and tight feeling, Front 43 has used their storefront in such a way that it feels bright and open no matter where you sit.

With plenty of televisions on the wall, you will not miss a game or an angle of play. This variety of entertainment would be hard to follow, but all the TVs are turned down with the captioning on, meaning that conversations can still be had with fellow patrons, and one is able to follow whatever screen they like without being bombarded with sound from another.

Front 43 is also where I'm a Beer Hound Beer and Tasting events are held each month. Recently there was a wings pairing and everyone commented on how great they were. Our table ordered a variety of goodies and shared. The wings are fabulous! We had ours split between Traditional and Jamaican Dry Rub, both were juicy and flavorful. If you are not good at sharing, make sure you get your own plate.

The menu is simple, not filled with 100 so-so items. Front 43 has set a bar of excellence and each item on the menu is a reflection of that standard. For example, you get one choice of Burger, Burger 43 which is delicious and just what you need when you are drinking a pint of Dark Horse Tres Blueberry Stout.

Front 43 specializes in having craft beer on tap. What they don't have on tap they might have available in a bottle which makes this a fabulous place to meet up with friends who have a variety of tastes. Growlers are also available for purchase to have filled with your favorite beer or hard cider on tap.

Add Front 43 Neighborhood Pub to your list of places to visit in the Lansing area. If you don't make it out on your own check out the next beer pairing to draw you in.
