Stella’s Lounge will celebrate four years as one of Grand Rapids’ favorite watering holes on Thursday May 8 by offering its famous giant stuffed burgers for only $4 along with special draft releases and the opening of a hard-to-find bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle bourbon.
In addition, $1 from each burger sale will be donated to Well House, which helps provide safe, affordable housing to the homeless.

The celebration runs 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. with limited-edition Stella’s punch cups and beer and cider releases throughout the day. All of Stella’s classic arcade and pinball games also will be set to free play for the day.

“Stella’s and its owner, Mark Sellers, have been great partners for us in our very important work of getting people off the street and into safe, affordable, permanent housing,” said Tami VandenBerg, executive director of Well House. “We need as many folks as possible to join us in our fight to end homelessness, and BarFly is a great example for other business owners and community members in his on-going generosity towards our evidence-based organization.”
