New Holland Beer and Fork in the Road Small Plates Pairing at REO Town Pub

Our next unique food and beer tasting at the REO Town Pub in Lansing is set for next Wednesday, May 15th and we are very excited. This time we will be featuring beers from New Holland Brewing Company and a series of small plates from Lansing's own Fork in The Road Artisan Diner.
New Holland is one of the premier microbreweries in the state, widely known for their Mad Hatter IPA series and Dragon's Milk Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout. As they have grown so too has their beer catalogue and availability, and they have also begun distilling their own line of spirits in 2005. Settled in the beachfront town of Holland, they remain a local and loyal force in the Michigan craft beer scene. Fork in the Road has become one of Lansing's hottest eating spots over the last couple years offering a wide range of locally-sourced meat and produce in a relaxed, upscale diner-setting. We were thrilled to be able to bring both of these Michigan-based, community oriented businesses together for a fun night of excellent beer and food tasting.
Featured Beer:
  • Full Circle - Asparagus: Seared Haloumi-Olive Cracker-Roasted Pearl Onion-Citrus
  • Monkey King - Smoked Crab Crepe: Chevre-Salsa Verde-Citrus-Parsley Salad
  • White Hatter - Smoked Trout: Roasted Rhubarb-Pate Brisee-Almond-Salata-Orange
  • Dragon's Milk - Crispy Pork Belly: Pretzel-Ramp-Mustard-Bourbon Onion
  • Imperial Hatter - Ham and Egg: Smoked Quail Egg-Micro-Charred Onion Gremolata

The event will kick off around 7:00 at the Pub. Tickets are $30 and include a five course beer (5 - 6oz beers) and small plate tasting. Other great drink specials will be available from Roxanne and her staff at the conclusion of the event. We expect a full house for this great tasting experience, so please purchase your tickets in advance through our website or in person at the Pub.
