Founder's Brewery Beer Dinner is Wednesday October 10 from 6:30-9:30pm at Four Roses Café on 663 10th Street, Plainwell.

About Four Roses:

Featuring fresh, local, sustainable ingredients, as well as hand-cut steaks and fresh seafood. Offering a great selection of Michigan Beers on tap and in bottles. Exquisite desserts by an in-house pasty chef. Live music on select nights. Four Roses Cafe in Plainwell is owned and operated by Tom and Jan Rose. Tom has been in the restaurant business for 25 years and spent the first 12 of his career at Arie's Cafe in Plainwell. There, he learned the importance of using quality products and fresh, local ingredients. The last 13 years, Tom has been a corporate chef and account manager. During this time he continued his use of only fresh, flavorful ingredients and has incorporated many flavorful, healthy dishes into his menus. Jan also has extensive restaurant experience. She worked in many top area restaurants and puts a very strong emphasis on excellent customer service. Tom and Jan have traveled extensively and love to try new and local cuisine. They plan to bring many of these flavors to their dishes. Tom is responsible for the operations of Four Roses Cafe and the hiring and training of the culinary staff. Jan focuses on front staff recruitment and training.

Paul Starr is the creator of the I'm a Beer Hound and one of the organizer and the driving force behind Art & Craft Beerfest, Lansing Beer Fest, Beerfest at the Ballpark Spring & Fall. When he's not working on Beer Hound he's probably watching the Lions, Tigers or Red Wings. Being a recent new Dad of twins, he doesn't have much extra time these days for mischief.
