Falling Down Beer Company acquires location for SE Michigan’s Newest Microbrewery

Falling Down Beer Company (FDBC) today announced they have agreed to lease a building located at 2270 East 10 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan, 48091. The location is currently operating as My Mother’s Place Restaurant. As part of the agreement, My Mother’s Place will continue to operate until the microbrewery is licensed and will redesign their menu to bring high quality pub food to the brewery.
Falling Down Beer Company LogoThis agreement marks a big step to opening the next great Michigan Microbrewery and expands the brewing presence in Warren and Southeast Michigan.

Falling Down Beer Company will construct a 10 BBL brewing system, capable of producing 930 gallons of beer weekly with plans to double capacity within one year. Plans also include the hiring of 10-15 new employees in 2012.

Also today FDBC has announced the availability of merchandise, brewery club memberships and tickets to a private grand opening celebration. The “Build a Brewery” store is located on the FDBC Facebook page at The store will only be available for the month of May and is intended to grow interest and capital for the brewery.

The brewery is currently scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2012.
