Oktoberfest Dinner & Brew Cruise on MI Princess

In true Short's fashion, just one month in advance of their biggest party of the year, Short’s Brewing Company announces the addition of theSalvacious Planemo Sour Series and Slurm to their 2017 Release Schedule. TheSalvacious Planemo Sour Series will begin with the release of Anni Ale 13irteen, a dry hopped American Sour Ale with black currants. Slurm, Short’s first New England style India Pale Ale, will be distributed in May. Both new releases will be served on tap at Short’s Anni Party 13irteen.

In an effort to reaffirm their commitment to local, Michigan small businesses, Short’s Brewing Company announces the distribution of two brews for independent Michigan accounts only. Publican Porter, a classic Short’s brew and Chief Hopper, a brand new Double IPA will be distributed to interested Michigan accounts with fewer than five locations nationwide. Both Publican Porter and Chief Hopper will be available in six-packs of 12oz bottles and various keg sizes.

Starcut Ciders, a division of Short’s Brewing Company, will release a new rotating hard cider, Phuzz, beginning this month.

Short’s Brewing Company of Bellaire and Elk Rapids, MI announces distribution of Psychedelic Cat Grass, a triple dry hopped American India Pale Ale. Billed as a “Without Delay IPA,” Short’s plans to package and distribute the beer within 24 hours; allowing customers to enjoy this beer on the same day it was packaged, resulting in out-of-this world freshness.

Short’s Brewing Company of Bellaire, MI will begin distribution of their beer in Wisconsin beginning May 16th with the Wisconsin Beverage Network and General Beverage. An official launch week is set to take place at various locations in Wisconsin June 7th - June 9th, 2016.

Short’s Brewing Company of Bellaire, Michigan announces a rebrand of their popular summer seasonal, Nicie, formerly known as Nicie Spicie. Nicie is an American Wheat Ale brewed with orange zest, lemon zest, coriander, and a hint of peppercorn.

Short’s Brewing Company announces a collaboration brew with American funk group, Vulfpeck. The beer called “Compression” is an American Sour Ale inspired by the Vulf Compressor, a mixing tool used by the band to give their music its signature sound. Compression will be released at The Short’s Anni Party XII in 550mL bottles.  

Short’s Brewing Company of Elk Rapids, Michigan announces plans to package their beers and Starcut Ciders in cans for the first time. Based in Northern Michigan, the company sees this addition to their lineup as a step towards reaching customers enjoying activities better suited for non-glass containers. An initial can roll out will include beers from their flagship lineup as well as a selection from their hard cider brand, Starcut Ciders.

Beer bar will be first to offer Short’s & Starcut  on tap in Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky and Nebraska.
