For the beer tour on Saturday, you will start at the great American icon that is Budweiser for a couple pints. From there the tour will head to Bold City Brewery, a family owned and run brewing operation that specializes in European style beers, namely their Fritz's Hefeweizen, which is a southern German style wheat beer. From there the party moves to Intuition Ale Works, a brewery that owner Ben Davis and his staff put their heart and soul into (read their bio!). Their flagship beer is the People's Pale Ale, a hoppy and robust American style pale modeled after the multitude of them found on the west coast.
The tour finishes up right near the beach at Green Room Brewing. They note that they were the first microbrewery in Jacksonville and promote the entire Florida beer scene with a rotating guest tap from various local brewing companies. They're known for their Helles Yeah, an American take on this classic, southern German beer. Three genuinely local breweries and a visit to the King of Beers, what a way to spend an afternoon!
This is a special and unique opportunity to enjoy a Lions game on the road and to soak up the local culture of the bustling, ocean-side city of Jacksonville.
