If you're unfamiliar with The Livery and their beers, Steve and his team are based out of what used to be a carriage-stop in the southwest Michigan town of Benton Harbor. Despite being a relatively small operation, their list of beers is expansive and wide-ranging, and they take pride in using as much Michigan wheat and hops as possible in their brewing processes. The Livery's brewpub is both charming & quaint and features a small but diverse menu. Steve also sits on the Michigan Brewer's Guild council and helps head up organizing the annual summer and winter Michigan beer festivals in Grand Rapids and Ypsilanti.Any dining experience at the State Room is a good one as it comfortably wears many hats. From a special date night to a casual weekday dinner or even a few drinks and appetizers at the bar with friends, they can accommodate. Their beer dinners reflect this and amply blend all styles together. Check their website for more details, and we hope to see you next week at "Tapped" with the State Room and The Livery!
