If you have never been to Vivant, this would be a great way to get your feet wet. They really have a very cool, unique, and holistic model to their business and it comes through in everything they do. Their beers are all styled after traditional, agrarian, small-batch recipes from northern France and Southern Belgium. Their brewpub, set in the chapel of an old funeral home in Grand Rapids, almost transports you to where the beer is styled from. It is microbrewery experience not like many others.
