57 Brew Pub & Bistro is located on M-57 in Greenville which is northeast of Grand Rapids and was first established in 2012. Other breweries in close proximity include
Perrin Brewing in Comstock Park and
Rockford Brewing Company. As the name would suggest, 57 Brew Pub & Bistro is a full scale restaurant which is complemented by 12+ craft taps brewed in house including mainstays and seasonals. I recently paid my first visit to the brewery and was impressed with both the beer and the food and will be happy to add this place to my stops when making future rounds in the area.
Mainstays on tap available during my visit included the Yellow Jacket Stinger Honey Ale as well as a quite delicious Raspberry Blonde. Also noteworthy were some of the seasonals and specialty releases which included a Belgian Wit, along with a Black Bear IPA as well as a Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter. 57 Brew Pub and Bistro also offers hard cider on tap. For lunch, I enjoyed the Bison Burger with fries. A full food menu is featured which includes appetizers, soups and salads, and sandwiches and wraps along with wood fired pizza, burgers, seafood and Mexican fare and also features gluten-free and vegetarian options for those with dietary restrictions. I am certainly looking forward to a return trip to try more of the beer and food options.
57 Brew Pub & Bistro is open 7 days a week, opening at 11 AM everyday except for Sundays at noon. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday, 3 PM - 7 PM and also during the week all menu appetizers are 1/2 off from 9 PM until close. Please also note 57 Brew Pub & Bistro is currently offering $1.00 off drafts (eligible on 16 oz. pours only) to all Beer Hound cardholders. If you want to step it up yet another notch, their pub club is a steal at $70 which includes a growler plus fill at time of purchase, with $2 off future refills.
