In an effort to quench the thirst of Northern Michigan beer lovers, Short’s Brewing Company announces the public opening of their Elk Rapids Production Facility. Opened in 2009, the company’s Production Facility has traditionally only been open to the public for pre-arranged tours and at their annual Short’s Fest party held during the village’s Harbor Days celebration. This location will bring a little slice of pub life to the other side of Antrim county.

Short's Brewing Company announces the release of Prolonged Enjoyment and Starcut Ciders Immortal Jelly. Prolonged Enjoyment, a Session India Pale Ale billed as “Unquestionably quaffable for those long days needed to remain upright and refreshed at the same time” and Immortal Jelly, a semi-dry hard cider fermented with Michigan apples and four different berries will both be distributed as seasonal products and available throughout the spring while supplies last.

Short’s Brewing Company announces the lineup for their Anni Party 13 Battle of the Bands. Over the course of the next two months, 21 selected bands will battle for a paying gig to perform as the opener at Short’s 13th Anniversary Party on April 29th, 2017.

Short’s Brewing Company announces the distribution of a new seasonal beer, The Double Magician. A double version of staple brew and fan favorite, The Magician, The Double Magician is slated to be released on Halloween.

Short’s Brewing Company of Bellaire, MI announces plans to distribute its beer and Starcut Ciders outside of Michigan. The brewery, which was founded in 2004 by Joe Short, has distributed only to the state of Michigan since opening its production facility in 2009.

Short’s Brewing Company of Bellaire, MI announces distribution of the 5,000th batch of beer brewed and packaged at their Elk Rapids, MI production facility. Appropriately named “Batch 5000,” Short’s 5,000th batch of beer is a Triple India Pale Ale packaged in 22oz bottles. This special beer will be distributed in very limited quantities statewide by Short’s longtime distributor, Imperial Beverage.
