HopCat – Detroit to open with World Record 120 drafts from Short’s Brewing Co.

HopCat – Detroit will open at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 with a World Record 120-tap takeover in conjunction with Bellaire-based Short’s Brewing Co. The event is expected to draw hundreds of people to the corner of Woodward and Canfield in the Midtown neighborhood.
At 9 p.m. The Huma Room, HopCat’s second floor music and entertainment venue, will open with a free show from Detroit’s own Howling Diablos and Brooklyn, New York's Pitchblak Brass Band. HopCat founder Mark Sellers, and Short’s Brewing founder Joe Short will be at the grand opening!

The first 200 people in line will receive a card good for a free order of Crack Fries every week for a year. HopCat will provide everyone with a free portion of Crack Fries throughout Saturday’s festivities.
