Brew House is located at 255 Seminole Dr. in the City of Norton Shores in Muskegon County conveniently right off the Seaway Drive / Business 31 on the way into town. The business was previously a coffee house but has been relaunched under new ownership and has recently expanded beyond traditional coffee drinks with the addition of a full bar with an emphasis on Michigan craft beer, wine, and spirits.
The soft opening featured over 20 Michigan Craft beers on tap with emphasis on local breweries including Muskegon’s own Unruly and Pigeon Hill breweries as well as Michigan hard cider and a rotating “guest” tap featuring Festina Peche from Delaware’s Dogfish Head Craft Ales. Favorites from the starting tap lineup included Tree Bucket from Brewery Vivant, Michigan Sunshine from Cellar Brewing, and Bean Flicker Coffee Blonde from Odd Side ales. Local pizzeria Handsome Henry’s provided free pizza for the event and representatives from Cellar Brewing, Pigeon Hill, and Unruly Brewing all stopped in for the celebration. Additionally Rich Burkholder and Better than One provided music for the evening.

A new menu of bar fare is currently in the works to compliment the existing coffee house menu. The new menu is expected to include giant loaded baked potatoes and paninis, as well as a beer cheese soup with Cellar’s Michigan Sunshine. Happy hour specials are daily from 3 PM to 6 PM include $1.00 of drafts and $2.00 off beer flights with extended happy hours for Monday night football and additional Sunday specials. Also Brew House is featuring their own mug club which includes larger pours in special glassware, Wednesday night specials, merch discounts and priority for special events i.e. upcoming beer dinners. Growlers fills are anticipated soon and keep a lookout for a possible announcement regarding a Brew House Beer Fest to be scheduled in the near future.
