Veteran Restauranteur Daniel Glazer Brings Excitement And A Passion For Craft Beers To His New Postion As Lansing Brewing Company’s General Manager.

For nearly two decades, Glazer has managed an array of venues, including Hard Rock Café Detroit and Mission Management Services’ Café Habana in Ann Arbor. His love of craft brews is rooted in previous management positions at several Michigan breweries.
“I am excited beyond words,” said Glazer. “The Lansing Brewing Company is at the epicenter of so much downtown activity. People will gravitate from all corners to enjoy craft beers and great food.”

As Glazer prepares to hire more than 60 employees, he points to Head Brewer Sawyer Stevens as ideally suited to his vision for the brewery.
“Sawyer is perfect … motivated and passionate. Now, we will find the right chef to match the culinary side of the table.”

Today, the historic Lansing Brewing Company brand celebrates its past while its fresh, innovative craft beers and modern building design speak to a promising future -- a celebration of the old and new.

Located in the heart of the Stadium District at 518 E. Shiawassee St., Lansing Brewing Company will initially brew up to 10 craft beers and offer four spirits and four custom-blended wines. The 7,000-square-foot brewery also will house a restaurant, featuring classic American comfort food and a full production facility.

The brewery is slated to open this fall.
