Oktoberfest Dinner & Brew Cruise on MI Princess

This June marks the fourth anniversary of Stormcloud Brewing Company opening its doors in downtown Frankfort. The northern Michigan brewery plans to celebrate its “Beerthday” on Saturday, June 17 with a pub party and two fundraising events. Both events will raise funding for the Betsie Valley Trail, a 22-mile pathway for bikers and hikers stretching across Benzie County.

The “Best Spellers in Benzie” will be crowned for a fourth consecutive year during Stormcloud Brewing Company’s annual Adult Spelling Bee and Fundraiser. The spring spelling contest takes place Friday, May 5 from 8-10pm at Stormcloud’s Frankfort pub and will raise funding for The Friends of the Benzie Shores District Library.

Stormcloud Brewing Company is honoring a classic television game show while raising money for a community-based non-profit organization. The Stormcloud Gong Show debuts Saturday, March 18 at the Benzie County brewery in downtown Frankfort. An amateur talent contest, The Stormcloud Gong Show invites contestants to perform their unique talents in front of an audience, in competition for prizes from Stormcloud and Frankfort’s Garden Theater.

Stormcloud Brewing Company and The Garden Theater are partnering for a fourth year to present the Dark & Stormcloudy Film and Beer Series. The series pairs award-winning foreign films with small batch darkbeers, handcrafted specifically for each movie by Stormcloud Brewing Company.

Stormcloud Brewing Company, in partnership with The R.O. Group, LLC, has announced plans to build and operate a production brewery in Frankfort, Michigan. The brewery plans to break ground as early as this fall on the new brewing and bottling plant located in Frankfort’s industrial park next to highway M-115.

Stormcloud Brewing Company has been named to the top spot in MLive Media Group’s search for Michigan’s Best New Brewery. The #1 ranking follows a public poll on MLive’s website asking readers to vote for their favorite local brewery in five separate regions of Michigan.

Stormcloud Brewing Company has announced the next recipient of its Stormcloud Builds Community fundraising initiative. For July 2016, Stormcloud is helping to support the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail with a fundraising event happening Saturday, July 23. Stormcloud will donate 50% of all pub sales between the hours of 4-6pm directly to the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail.

Stormcloud Brewing Company is pleased to announce the release of their newest collaborative beer, Legally Wed & Off To Bed. A Belgian IPA infused with hibiscus, Legally Wed & Off To Bed was brewed this spring by Stormcloud in collaboration with Fermenta, a Michigan­based collective of women brewers.
