July 18th was the date for Tapistry Brewing’s second anniversary celebration in southwest Michigan’s City of Bridgman. The event featured a full music lineup from the afternoon into the evening with vintage and barrel age tap releases along with special bottle releases and a special anniversary food menu including birthday cake. The celebration was preceded by a mug member-only exclusive buffet a full hour ahead of the 11 a.m. public opening of the brewery.
Anniversary bottle releases for 2015 included the Heart Full of Napalm 10% Double IPA with Galaxy, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops along with the Solera 5.5% sour blonde ale blended from 12 and 18 month old aged oak barrels. There was a no limit for the DIPA however the Solera bottles sold out quick even with the one bottle limit per customer. Vintage taps included the Burn the Witch weizenbock, Sixteen Tons barleywine, and 8-month aged Batch #100 Russian Imperial Stout while other barrel aged release on draft included a Journeyman Rye Whiskey aged Quadrophonic and Journeyman gin barrel aged Mr. Orange with lime.

A special food menu for the event included choices of both vanilla and chocolate cream birthday cake.
