Pigeon HIll Brewing Company in Muskegon will soon be celebrating their 2-year anniversary and the brewery has plenty of accomplishments from the past year to celebrate. Pigeon Hill has recently began additional production in an off site facility with a new 20 barrel system to supplement the existing smaller pub brewery. This will allow the brewery to ramp up production on mainstays like their Shifting Sands IPA and Walter Blondale to meet their state-wide distribution demands. Pigeon Hill also plans to add a new canning line later this year to also boost distribution of their mainstay brands.
Pigeon Hill Brewing Company has also been recognized for many of their speciality beers which will continue to be a focus going forward. One beer that has brought them much acclaim is the Your Mom on French Toast Russian Imperial Stout with maple syrup and cinnamon. This is the beer that brought them their longest line at this year’s Winter Beer Fest, with a 1/2 barrel being tapped and gone in less than an hour and a half. Ratebeer also recently recognized Pigeon Hill Brewing Company; among the many new breweries opening recently in Michigan, Pigeon Hill was recognized as “best new brewer” for this past year.

Pigeon HIll Brewing Company will be celebrating their 2-year anniversary on Friday, March 18th and Saturday, March 19th with a 2 day street party featuring live music and special beer releases. The celebration will start Friday evening with no cover charge and includes performances from Logan White at 5 p.m. and Delilah DeWylde at 8 p.m. Saturday is an all day event with a $5 cover charge and includes a live DJ in the afternoon with Julia & The Greensides perfoming at 4 p.m. and Fauxgrass at 7 p.m. Special beer releases will include a Peach Sour Blonde Ale, Feisty Latina Mexican Stout and Your Mom on French Toast. There will also be a limited amount of tours of the new production facility given throughout the 2 day event.
