On Saturday, June 17th Founders will once again close down the taproom and move the party into the street for a day of beer, food, and music in the sun. This year’s 10th annual Founders Fest features their most exciting music lineup yet with a solid team of jam bands including national headlining act Umphrey’s McGee along with the 90’s chart- topping Blues Traveler and bluegrass rockers Leftover Salmon. Additionally, Grand Rapid’s own Mustard Plug and Traverse City’s The Accidentals will be supporting this already stellar lineup.
Of course, no Founders Fest would be complete without a set from the ever evolving and always entertaining FBC All-Stars. This annually rotating lineup of Founders employees wows the crowd each year with a set of fun-filled covers and usually a surprise appearance or two from previous FBC All-Star alumni such as head brewer Jeremy Kosmicki or co-brewer Dave “Diamond” Deschaine. Don’t forget this is a beer festival. In addition to Founders mainstays like Rubaeus and All Day IPA, there will also be specialty releases pouring as well as the festival’s own Founders Fest Wheat ale.
Please note that Founders Fest tickets are currently sold out at the pub (with the exception of mug club members), so if you are planning on attending be sure to secure your ticket online via Ticketfly at the following link:
