“Our goal is to be fun and casual,” Director of Special Events for the Children's Leukemia Foundation Jackie Mcintosh said. “When we do the event in Royal Oak it's very easy going, and that's what we're carrying into this, with more of a fall vibe.”
Food for the event is being provided by Buffalo Wild Wings as well as Bagger Dave's, so there will be plenty of tasty grub to fuel your day. The beer is being provided by Bell's Brewery, and offers quite a few tasty brews for your pleasure, including some rarities.
Beer selection includes some standards along with some specialties, including a peek at Christmas Ale and Winter White Ale, their exceptional Cedar-Aged Lager Quinannan Falls, and a chance to get at their great Sparkling Ale. The biggest hitters brought for the event include Expedition Stout, Special Double Cream Stout, and a chance at their ever-sought-after Black Note.
“The last ten beers [on the list] are just being served at the Eccentic Cafe, and I'm excited to try those,” McIntosh said. “To get to try the beers that you can't get anywhere else. The response to the Southeast Brewfest has been very large, and the organization is very excited to bring BRU Fest to Beer City USA.
