The Livery is no frills, local joint in Benton Harbor that is located in a former stop-off point for travelers coming through Southwest Michigan. Steve takes pride in the fact that they try as much as possible to use local, Michigan wheat and hops in their beer and has made a point of stressing this within the guild.
This year at the festival, The Livery featured 6 of their beers, mostly English IPA's and read ales, and also a collaboration brew with New Holland called Water Sign Wheat.
There is a lot to like about The Livery. From their general enthusiasm for their craft to their diverse and expansive beer list. From their great location to their small but tasty menu. When you are in Southeast Michigan, check them out!
