This Saturday is the Women's Craft Beer Tour of Greater Lansing
On Saturday, November 16th the loyal ladies from the Beer Houndettes will be holding a Lansing area craft beer tour. In addition, they will be joined by the Detroit Draft Divas and PussyCat Beer Guild from Grand Rapids who are helping promote the launch of the new ladies beer club in Lansing.

Michigan’s largest beer bar will open with 100 different Short’s brews on tap, a record-setting feat First 200 patrons to receive free Crack Fries for a year
HopCat – East Lansing will open its doors and tap the kegs in record-setting fashion on Thursday, Aug. 22. For one day only, the restaurant and bar, which will feature 100 craft beers on tap (Michigan’s largest selection of draft beer), will team up with Short’s Brewing Co. of Bellaire, Michigan to host the most brews on tap at one bar from a single brewery.

Hop Bine Planting Marks The Start of Construction at HopCat - East Lansing
Today in East Lansing, Hop Bine Planting marks the start of construction for HopCat. If you are unfamiliar with HopCat in Grand Rapids, it is a great craft beer bar with 48 taps that are mostly Michigan beers. It has consistently been rated one of the best beer bars in the country by Beer Advocate magazine, RateBeer.com and CraftBeer.com.
