Although some are only seasonal, they feature over 20 beers across just about every style. They pour from a 12 tap system at their brewpub on Patterson, just a mile or so north of 28th Street on the southeast side of Grand Rapids.

In 2009, they upgraded to a new bottling system which dramatically increased their product availability throughout the state. Their minimalist, local, and no-nonsense approach to brewing is refreshing in an industry that can sometimes take itself too seriously. If you're new to Schmohz, try their 'Pail Ale', an American pale ale with a tremendous floral hop finish, or their 'Amber Tease', a very drinkable California amber beer with a subtle bitterness.
