Atwater is located just off Jefferson Avenue along the river in downtown Detroit and specialize largely in classic, German style beers. This is an exciting time for them as they just moved into a new brew house in Detroit that will double their brewing capacity. This move will help bolster the supply of their beers in the Michigan marketplace as well as allow them to expand distribution in up to four new states.

Interview with Matt Cebula from Atwater Brewing Company
Written by Ryan Ranspach
We recently sat down at Crunchy's in East Lansing for an interview with Matt Cebula from Atwater Brewery who was there promoting the release of their newest beer, VJ Black Imperial Stout.
If you are in Detroit and want to check them out, Atwater has a tap room open every Wednesday through Saturday located right at their brewing site downtown. They will also be at the Traverse City Beer Festival this Saturday, February 11th and at the renowned but sold-out Winter Michigan Beer Festival in Grand Rapids later this month. Even if it's just from your local watering hole or craft beer store, find one of their robust and flavorful brews soon!
