In the first question, we asked him what made him want to start a brewery?  Matt explains that he and his wife Rene started Arbor Brewing over 16 years ago but before that he was a passionate homebrewer. He developed his passion for full favored beers when he studied in Europe in college. At the time he was working a corporate soul crushing job and he wanted more than to be working at that job for the next 40 years.

In next question, we ask him how ABC India came about?  He explained that the idea to help start ABC India started with Gaurav Sikka, a University of Michigan student and frequent patron of ABC. After graduating, he moved back to Bangalore and he contacted the founders with an interest in leading India’s emerging craft brewery movement. After a trip to Bangalore, they signed on as consultants and planned to model the brewpub after the original ABC Brewpub in downtown Ann Arbor.

In the last question we asked him what can you expect at ABC Brewpub and Corner Brewery? Matt explains that they created a community gathering place where people feel comfortable to sit and chat for hours while enjoying great craft beers.
