We love rich, strong stouts, and we love chocolate. As the popularity for stouts and porters expands in Michigan, so too does the interest and curiosity for how they are brewed. In researching this, many people are very surprised to learn about the strong presence of coffee, roasted nuts, and chocolate in these beers. It may seems strange, but these flavors actually marry together wonderfully and can really add to the complexity, warmth, and comfort of these beers. We think this is essential to a good stout and brings us to another concept. Passion. History and popular culture have always linked chocolate to passion and lust, because people seem to go so mad for it. We beerhounds are mad and lustful for beer, so we thought it would be great to combine some of our favorite Michigan dark & fruit beers with some Fabiano's chocolate, the very best available in the Lansing area.
